TROY, Mich. -- Behr America Inc. will build a $15-million climactic wind tunnel here to test automotive heating and cooling equipment, the company announced today.
"The new wind tunnel will set a benchmark for wind tunnel technology around the world," said Josef Kern, Behr's senior vice president of engineering. "The new facility will be capable of testing heating and cooling systems on all classes of vehicles."
