BOSTON -- Newbury Networks, Inc., the leader in the market for developing location-enabled networks (LENs) over 802.11, today announced that the Royal Sonesta Hotel is using its LocaleServer(TM) solution for deploying wireless location-enabled guided walking tours to patrons and visitors for its modern art collection. The artwork is on display throughout the Royal Sonesta's public spaces and restaurants. The Royal Sonesta will be administrating the location-based tours by providing Compaq iPaq PocketPCs configured with 802.11 wireless cards to visitors browsing the over 80 exhibits spanning the first two floors of the hotel.
