Jane Welzel has run somewhere between 50 and 60 marathons in her life, in so many countries you could twirl a globe completely around.
She has run marathons in Japan and Germany, Spain and New Zealand.
But Welzel, of Fort Collins, Colo., has always had a soft spot for Grandma's Marathon. Welzel is one of only four women who have competed in all five U.S. Olympic marathon trials and she hopes to qualify for No. 6 when she crosses the finish line Saturday in Duluth.
