Tom Lally, principal of Sherburne-Earlville High School, will leave that post to become principal of Johnson City Senior High School.
Lally, 34, former assistant principal at Chittenango High School, starts July 22. His annual salary at Sherburne-Earlville was $76,000. He'll make $90,000 at Johnson City.
Sherburne-Earlville High has about 550 students from ninth through 12th grades. Johnson City has 1,100 students from eighth through 12th grades.
Lawrence Rowe, Johnson City's superintendent of schools, said he was impressed with Lally's interview and references.
