HACKENSACK WATER COMPANY SEEKS STATE APPROVALS
THAT WILL LEAD TO A NEW GOLF COURSE IN BERGEN COUNTY
HARRINGTON PARK, N.J., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Hackensack Water Company is asking the help of the state in attempting to carve out a new 18-hole golf course on land previously approved for the construction of 900,000 square feet of office space and 200 townhouses in the borough of Emerson.
In petitions filed today in Trenton and Newark, the utility said a contract buyer wants to build a new country club on a site presently owned by Rivervale Realty Company, an affiliate of the water company. The new golf course would replace approved plans ...
