WESTINGHOUSE, AMTECH JOIN FORCES TO AUTOMATE DULLES TOLL ROAD
VIENNA, Va., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Westinghouse Electric Corp. (NYSE: WX) and AMTECH Corp.(NASDAQ-NMS: AMTC), a maker of electronic toll collection systems, today announced they have joined forces to bid the Virginia Department of Transportation contract to automate the collection process on Northern Virginia's Dulles Toll Road.
The announcement was made by Jim Holthaus, manager of business development for Westinghouse's Commercial Systems Divisions, at the company's office here. Under the licensing agreement Westinghouse will market and manage AMTECH products.
