ZAMBOANGA CITY Abu Sayyaf leader Aldam Tilao alias Abu Sabaya and two of his cohorts were believed killed, while four others were captured in a sea gun battle with Marines and Navy operatives yesterday morning at Mantibo Point, off Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte, the military said.
Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gen. Roy Cimatu said Marines and members of the Naval Special Warfare Group-6 of Task Force Comet clashed about 4:30 a.m. with a sevenman group led by Abu Sabaya aboard a pumpboat which resulted in the capture of four Abu Sayyaf members identified as Hasan Hamsi alias Abu Ayob, Abdurahman Ismael ...
