"Touching down" is not how you might classify a water landing into Vancouver Harbor aboard a 20-person float plane.
Something more akin to "skimming" or even "plowing" would seem more appropriate. If there were ever a more romantic way to begin a fabulous night on the town, however, it would have to compete with the half-hour journey from Victoria's Inner Harbor to Vancouver Harbor, up and over the archipelago known as the Gulf Islands.
