A recent visit to my doctor's office, and the interminable wait to see the guy, led to a most pleasant surprise and a happy period of remembering when, lo and behold, I came across a copy of my all-time favorite magazine, The Saturday Evening Post! Hallelujah! It's been revived! Norman Rockwell and all!
My association with The Saturday Evening Post began, as I recall, when I sold the Post and Country Gentleman on a street corner in the University District in Seattle, Washington.
I have enclosed a copy of my tattered Post "business card" (or what's left of it!) after carrying it in my various wallets off and on for the past 80 years or so--during which ...
