SAN FRANCISCO, June 24 Asia Pulse - The Taiwan Tobacco and Wine Board (TTWB) took part in the second World Wine Market in San Francisco over the weekend as part of its ongoing efforts to improve overseas sales.
The World Wine Market, which started on Thursday, is a major international wine trade show. It attracted more than 150 wineries from around the world this year. This was TTWB's first and last time to take part in the show using its present name. It will change its name to Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation July 1.
The TTWB has sales in the United States of US$1 million. Taiwan beer accounts for 40 per cent of the sales.
