A 4-year-old Syracuse boy was in "extremely critical" condition Sunday after most of his body was burned when his older brother doused him in lighter fluid and ignited it with a match Saturday night, police said.
Nyquest Tearney of 103 Boise Drive suffered second- and third-degree burns over 85 percent to 95 percent of his body in the 10:40 p.m. incident at an aunt's home at 338 Seymour St., city police Sgt. Tom Connellan said.
