The AICPA and the Information Technology Alliance (ITA), currently an Institute membership section for technology firms, have announced that the ITA will again become a separate organization.
The move stems from "strategic decisions" by both organizations. The AICPA wants to "align its resources more directly to its CPA membership," while the ITA says it wishes "to continue serving both its non-CPA and CPA constituency."
