"Continuation," a small, privately published book of photographs commemorating the life of Larisa Caldwell, a Eugene teen-ager who died of cancer in 1997, has won three national awards.
The 84-page book, whose full title is "Continuation: Honoring and Celebrating the Human Condition," has been named the best self-published book of 2001 by Writer's Digest magazine.
It's also won the Silver Award in the Summit Creative Awards International Design Competition and the Independent Publisher Book Award as Most Life-Changing Book of the year.
