State Environment Laws to Hit Cosmetics
WASHINGTON (FNS) - The cosmetics industry should expect to see state legislatures throughout the U.S., consider a slew of environmental protection plans this decade which could result in the extinction of some household toiletry products, an industry official warned.
"Within the next few years we anticipate many of the more environmentally-oriented states such as California, New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, Connecticut and especially Massachusetts, will be considering laws dealing with everything from aerosols to underarm deodorants and product packaging," said E.
