NEW DELHI, June 26 Asia Pulse - The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) demanded immediate enactment of the Small Industries Development Bill saying a single comprehensive Act would avoid unnecessary regulatory hassles.
"The Bill should be enacted as a Law as early as possible for rationalisation of existing laws and procedures related to Small Scale Industry (SSI)," CII said in a statement.
Adopting a single Act, comprising all the laws that SSIs in India are required to comply with, would lead to avoiding unnecessary regulatory hassles faced by a small unit, it added.
