Jun. 27--The Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City has lost its top executive for the second time in four months.
The company announced Wednesday that general manager Thomas Burke is leaving Ameristar "by mutual agreement," effective Friday.
In an interview, Burke confirmed that Friday also will be the last day at Ameristar for Bruce Lowder, the casino's vice president of finance.
"My leaving is truly by mutual agreement," Burke said.
He has no other job lined up. "I'm going to take some time off and spend time with my family," he said.
