TORONTO, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The directors of South American Goldfields Inc. ("South American") wish to announce that the company has entered into agreements with Ivanhoe Capital Corporation ("Ivanhoe") which will lead to the establishment of South American as the financial and senior joint venture partner in the exploration and development of the Mazaruni Diamond Concessions of Golden Star Resources Ltd.
