MCLEAN, Va. -- Ernst & Young LLP today announced that it has hired approximately 130 former Arthur Andersen professionals, including 10 former partners, in a major expansion of its Global Employment Solutions (GEmS) practice. The new hires, from Andersen's Human Capital Practice, will be primarily based in McLean, Va.; Dallas and Houston, Texas; and Los Angeles, Calif. As a result of the transaction, Ernst & Young's global GEmS practice, which provides domestic and global human resource advisory and international mobility services, now has more than 2,500 professionals, with nearly 1,000 of them located in the Americas.
