Remote community mental health service delivery is in a period of rapid change--strategies, plans, equity of access, "bush politics", research, life span interventions, prevention programs, pharmacology advances, teams where sole practitioners once roamed and, probably most significantly, technology. Technology occurs in the form of email, Internet, intranet, data systems, electronic files and videoconferencing.
