DALY CITY, Calif., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The first man to take a chance on Colonel Harland Sanders' recipe for fried chicken 38 years ago, today opened the nation's 5,000th Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant here -- and a company official predicted the system will double in the next decade.
