On the silver screen, she will forever be remembered for the winsome yet elegant characters she seemed born to play--from Holly Golightly to Eliza Doolittle. However, the part that Audrey Hepburn was most passionate about late in her life was volunteering on behalf of children as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF. To commemorate her humanitarian legacy, Hepburn's longtime companion, Robert Wolders, commissioned a bronze sculpture in her honor and last month oversaw its installation in an outdoor plaza at UNICEF's headquarters in Manhattan.
