Despite the deaths of more than 3,000 civilians in the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon, however, the gang on the Potomac ambled along. And never mind that it appears now that the White House was the target of the fourth airliner, United Flight 93, that crashed in Pennsylvania after unarmed passengers bravely attacked the armed al-Qaeda terrorists.
