Distillate Prices Show New Strength

DISTILLATE PRICES firmed in Monday's price postings, while terminal and dealer tank wagon gasoline prices softened.

Companies raised distillate prices in 160 locations, with prices in three cities jumping by more than 1.0 cent. Prices fell in 13 locations.

Terminal gasoline prices were lowered in 90 cities, while prices increased in only 11 locations.

Majors softened dealer tank wagon gasoline prices in 38 locations, with prices in one city falling by more than 1.0 cent. DTW postings rose in two cities.

Price changes effective Feb. 26 were:
