The financial planning community would love to make America's short list of trustees. Without hesitation, doctors get the call when the nation sneezes. Lawyers are sought when a wrong needs to be righted. But who do the 50-something Joneses call when they have to put two kids through college, find and fund an assisted-living facility for Mom and start saving for their 30 golden years?
