Urstadt Biddle Properties Inc. (UBP), announced last week that it purchased the Ridgeway Shopping Center in Stamford for $89.3 million.

The seller was a partnership controlled by Larry Silverstein, a New York developer, and Howard Menaker, a real estate investor in Roseland, N.J.

Willing Biddle, president of Urstadt Biddle Properties, said, "We are proud to have added to our portfolio one of the premier shopping centers in the state of Connecticut."

Containing 330,000 square feet of retail space and 30,000 square feet of office space, Ridgeway is the largest open-air shopping center in Fairfield County.
