Hitachi America, Ltd., a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., (NYSE:HIT), today announced that Masaaki Fujisawa has been named president and CEO of Hitachi Automotive Products (USA), Inc. Mr. Fujisawa succeeds Taiji Hasegawa, who has returned to the Hitachi, Ltd. Automotive Products Group in Japan as general manager, Sawa Works the Automotive Products Group production facility in Hitachinaka City, Japan. The appointments were effective on June 27.
