TROY, Mich. -- On July 7, 2002, Infiniti Pro Series racecars will take to the track at the Kansas Speedway for the league's inaugural race. Delphi Corporation's safety technologies will help ensure a higher level of safety during the race and as future safety improvements are implemented for the new open-wheel racing series created on the same founding principles as the Indy Racing League (IRL). Delphi's Track Condition Radio and Accident Data Recorder 2 (ADR2) will be featured on all Infiniti Pro Series racecars for the season.
