CLEVELAND TO HOST DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP COUNCIL'S 1991 CONVENTION
CLEVELAND, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Democratic Leadership Council, Mayor Michael R. White of Cleveland and the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland announced today that the city will host the fifth annual DLC Convention May 5-7, 1991.
DLC Chairman Gov. Bill Clinton (D-Arkansas) said Cleveland was selected to show the DLC message has broad appeal in the midwest and north. "We want the country to know that Democrats are on the side of middle America," Clinton said.
