FORMER boxer Stephen Forde has been awarded more than pounds 27,500 after he sued South Wales Police.
The civil action against the force came after an eight-year ordeal for the ex-doorman who has faced 10 criminal trials in a decade but been convicted of just one minor motoring offence.
The jury at the High Court awarded the damages to the Cardiff dad after a South Wales Police investigation which followed his arrest in the city centre.
