SENATE PASSES SPECTER-KENNEDY AMENDMENT
TO IMPROVE CAMPUS SECURITY STANDARDS
WASHINGTON, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- As violent crime on the nation's college campuses continues to escalate, the Senate last night passed an amendment co-sponsored by U.S. Sens. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) and Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) to improve campus security standards and awareness nationwide.
