The 21st summer festival presented by Seattle Chamber Music Society got off to a fine start Monday night - the weather bright, if cool, at Lakeside School, the recital packed and the concert almost sold out.
During the last several years, the festival's programming has become increasingly interesting, with uncommon works tucked in among those more familiar. This year is no exception, including vocal chamber music prominent on four programs.
