Micro Bubbles Keep Coolant Clean
Eaton Corporation, an Ohio-headquartered Fortune 500 company with 96 different plants in the U.S. making automotive and truck components, electronics and aerospace and commercial controls, counts a waste treatment process for metalworking fluids among its latest success stories. That success did not come easily or quickly, however. Waste treatment had posed an ongoing problem for several of the company's metalworking operations and for the industry as a whole. But by the late 1960s and early 1970s, Eaton engineers recognized there must be more economical and efficient alternatives to practices then in use.
