REVLON SETS END OF HALSTON WOMEN'S APPAREL DESIGN UNIT
NEW YORK -- "I have no ill will toward Revlon. This has all been handled professionally and amicably," Halston designer John David Ridge said Sunday, in the wake of the news that Revlon, Inc., was suspending the women's apparel design operations of its Halston Enterprises, Inc.
However, added Ridge, who has been designing a Halston made-to-order collection since 1984, "I'm sorry to see the Halston name go out of the women's apparel business."
