Assessing Breathing Patterns in First Aid Training
The number of home, worksite, and community accidents warrants the need for prompt and accurate emergency care. More than 50,000 motor vehicle accident fatalities occurred in 1988. [1] While accidents rank fourth overall as a cause of death in the United States, it ranks first among individuals ages 15 - 24. [2] Immediate action within minutes of the incident could save some lives.
