HUNDREDS of Northern Ireland's war heroes lie in unmarked, neglected graves while their headstones lie stashed in a council storage shed.
In this week of Somme commemorations, the Sunday Mirror reveals the disgraceful way Northern Ireland remembers its war dead.
Shamefully, these men - some from Canada and Norway - are buried in a corner of Belfast City Cemetery in a plot without grave stones, or even a single memorial.
Each grave is marked only by an underground tag, so that the council has a record of who is buried ...
