Jul. 7--US, SAUDI ECONOMIC LINKS WEAKER: Economic links between Saudi Arabia and the United States have weakened considerably since September 11 and its perceived bias towards Israel, reported AFP. US exports fell by 43 per cent to USD1.3 billion in the first four months of the year, while visa applications for visits to the US have fallen by half. Saudi exports to the US, mainly oil, fell by 28 per cent to USD3.5 billion in the first four months of the year.
