BEVERLY HILLS -- Andrea Pfister had accomplished just about everything on his wish list: dressing Elizabeth Taylor, inspiring a litany of international exhibitions, being able to retreat to a villa in Positano to design his much-feted shoes.

But there was just one more wish. "I've always dreamed of [having] a store on Rodeo Drive," Pfister told Footwear News.

Last week, he got his wish, and stood proudly watching as the beautiful, the famous and the just plain rich streamed into his brand-new boutique, smack in the center of the high-end street.
