It was recently announced that Princess Cruises will transfer its 1,950-passenger Sea Princess to U.K.-based sister company, P&O Cruises, next spring. The 77,000-gross-register-ton vessel will replace the 1,450-passenger Arcadia, which is moving to a new U.K. cruise line, Ocean Village, currently being developed by parent company P&O Princess Cruises to create an informal, contemporary style of cruising for that market. In her new role, the three-year-old Sea Princess will be renamed Adonia and refitted to cater to P&O Cruises passengers.
