A YSL Show, But It Missed The YSL Touch
PARIS -- Before the Yves Saint Laurent show began Wednesday morning, Pierre Berge walked up and down the runway, surveying the crowd.
The faithful fans and friends filed into the tent, including Yves's mother and two sisters, Paloma Picasso, Cristiana Brandolini, Irene Amic, Silvia de Waldner, Claude Lalanne, Jacques Grange, Anne-Marie Dumas, wife of France's minister of foreign affairs, and Monique Lang, wife of the minister of culture.
A few days earlier, even with the collection completed, Berge admitted, "We are worried about those last-minute finishing touches that Yves does." And, indeed, his spirit ...
