MAGDEBURG, Germany -- MelTec GmbH, a functional proteomics company, today announced that it has been awarded a prestigious research grant, worth approximately euro 2.3 million (USD 2.25 M), by the German Federal Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Technology (BMBF). MelTec will use this grant to further its drug discovery programs and its new approaches to individualized medicine by heading the establishment of CELLECT, a multi-disciplinary network of ten research groups.
