Like most budding superstars, A's shortstop Miguel Tejada couldn't imagine arriving at the All-Star Game without his entourage in tow.
"This game means a lot to our family," said Tejada, referring to wife Alesandra, 2-year-old daughter Alexa, 7-month-old son Miguel and father Daniel, who flew in from the Dominican Republic for the game Tuesday night in Milwaukee.
"We get to be All-Stars, all of us, for a day. It's something we're going to enjoy because you don't know if you're ever going to get it again."
Left-hander Barry Zito, also a first-time selection, is the A's other representative.
