Newcomb and Company moves into high-tech hvac
RALEIGH, N.C. - A growing number of customers with high-tech demands, such as research laboratories and pharmaceutical manufacturers, means that work at Newcomb and Company, a 36-year-old mechanical contracting firm here, has grown more exacting.
"Consistent, continual training has become more important than ever," says C. A. (Bo) Newcomb, president of the company. Newcomb's firm, one of a triumvirate of prominent Carrier dealers in central North Carolina who all started about the same time, does about $10 million in annual business now, most of it design/build for commercial and industrial clients.
