Let them all resign
While I have enormous respect for John Brandl, whom I first met when he worked in Washington during the Johnson administration in the '60s, his Oct. 1 comments on honor in public service and the need for Bill Clinton's resignation miss the boat by far.
One can appreciate the difficulty of motivating the best and the brightest to enter public service. And, it is true that the presidency is at the pinnacle of public service. But, to pin loss of a sense of honor on Clinton and call for his resignation ignores the Starr witch hunt and the way it was begun, the intemperate remarks and behavior of Speaker of the House Gingrich, the ...
