Jul. 9--Large Scale Biology Corp.'s bioprocessing and biomanufacturing plant in Owensboro's MidAmerica Airpark could be a busy place in a few years.
Monday, the California-based company signed an agreement with South Africa's Institute of Infectious Disease and Molecular Medicine at the University of Cape Town to collaborate on the development and manufacture of vaccines against both cervical cancer and AIDS.
The vaccines -- which may both treat and prevent the diseases -- would be produced at Large Scale's Owensboro facility and delivered to the ...
