The following is a transcript filed in Cayuga County Court, allegedly depicting a conversation between former Cayuga County Sheriff Peter J. Pinckney and Deputy William Quigley, a member of the department's narcotics investigation team. The conversation is alleged to have taken place about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in Pinckney's office at the Cayuga County Public Safety Building on County House Road in Sennett. Investigators have accused Pinckney of using Quigley to obtain money from the department's confidential drug account, meant to pay for drug investigations.
