Jul. 11--Argosy Gaming Co. has named its top marketing executive in Cincinnati to head the Argosy Riverside Casino.
Gary L. Johnson, 54, takes over as general manager later this month, pending approval by the Missouri Gaming Commission.
In May, the previous general manager, Larry Kinser, was named general manager in Cincinnati aboard Argosy's riverboat casino docked in nearby Lawrenceburg, Ind.
Illinois-based Argosy Gaming Vice President Virginia McDowell noted that Johnson opened the company's flagship Lawrenceburg casino in 1996, helping it to become "not ...
