SOFT TEXTURES DRAW FOCUS AT '91 J.W.T.E.
NEW YORK -- Soft textures are among the top attention-getters at the '91 Japan Wool Textile Exhibition, being held this week at Parsons School of Design here.
The textures have been created with high-twist, fine worsted yarns, as well as with blends. Fabrications included novelty crepe weaves, Tasmanian gabardines, jerseys, boucles and tapestry floral jacquards.
The color palette stressed the berry family, from rose to rust, greens and reds.
