LOUISVILE, Ky. -- Aperture, the nation's largest Credentials Verification Organization (CVO), is working with several major health plans in Kentucky to establish a credentialing Alliance -- an initiative that can increase the quality of care for their members, improve health care provider relations by eliminating administrative hassles, and save health plans money.
The Alliance operates on a basic premise -- by establishing a common credentialing cycle for overlapping network practitioners, primary source verification is performed once and the results are shared with all participating health plans.
