Minister for Young People and Learning, Stephen Twigg today launched a training package to enable more deaf people to become advisers to adults on learning and work.
Funded by the Department for Education and Skills and run in conjunction with major organisations for deaf people, the project has been managed by the Walsall Deaf People's Centre, West Midlands and seeks to make NVQ qualifications more accessible to deaf people.
