The East Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department's annual field days will be a week earlier this year. The event is scheduled for July 18-20 at the department's Loomis Field on Hartwell Avenue in the village.
The department decided to have its annual and only fund-raiser earlier so it would not conflict with Harbor Fest in Oswego, said Mike Cramer, the department's second assistant chief.
The field days begin with a pushball competition at 6 p.m. July 18.
The evening also features a special price on the carnival rides. An all-ride pass good from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. will cost $11. Patrons also can enjoy ...
